Dr. Gurjeet Mallhi completed her MBBS, DGO, MD Obstetrics and Gynecology from the prestigious Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana. She worked as a Senior Resident at Government Medical College and Hospital, Chandigarh. Dr. Mallhi completed a 2 year ART Fellowship (Indian Society of Assisted Reproduction Accredited) and hands on Embryology Training. Her special interests include IVF and Recurrent Implantation Failure. She has more than 7 years in assisted reproductive technology and expertise in all type of infertility related diagnostic, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy related surgeries.
Dr. Mallhi is an Infertility specialist with over 19 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
After working as a OBGYN consultant with various leading hospitals for many years, Dr. Mallhi realized her passion for IVF and infertility management in 2010 when she finished her 2 year ART Fellowship and hands on Embyrology Training from Jindal IVF and Sant Memorial Nursing Home, Chandigarh. Since 2014, Dr. Mallhi has worked at Dolphin IVF and Laparoscopy Centre, Chandigarh as an IVF consultant.
Dr. Mallhi specializes in in-vitro fertilization stimulation protocols in all kinds of patients especially in PCOD, cases with low ovarian reserve, ovum pick up and embryo transfer, controlled ovarian hyper stimulation to induce ovulation and other procedures than may help patients with infertility and prevent complications of IVF without compromising success rates. She is a keen embryologist with expertise in hands on experience in all aspects of sperm preparation for IUI, IVF, ICSI including specific experience in recovery and preparation of sperms from testicular and epidydimal samples, and with a special interest in PGD.
Apart from her interest in IVF, Dr. Mallhi has taken on many roles in her career course. She has supervised, instructed and taught undergraduate medical students, interns, and house doctors. Passionate about improving women’s health, Dr. Mallhi has shown commitment to providing gynecological aid in underserved areas of rural Punjab through camps and has been involved in gynecological research and has presented papers in regional conferences. Dr. Mallhi is a member of the Indian Medical Association, Obstetrics and Gynecological Society of Northern India, and Indian Fertility Society.
